few feet wide in a visual inspection. An experienced thermographer can
cover forty feet wide or more in a single pass.
Infrared is Real-time and Subjective
Infrared is black and white. Not in terms of color, but in terms of
results. Areas of a target can be compared in real time and the patterns
analyzed. A proper infrared inspection of a viewable target performed by a
qualified thermographer gives usable results immediately if necessary.
